⛰️ Kukës – Radomirë – Korab Color Path

Discover the wild beauty of northern Albania on this 2-day adventure along the Korab Color Path. Explore gorges, lakes, waterfalls and alpine villages, hike to the panoramic Kallabak Peak (2174m), and enjoy the stunning views over Europe’s largest valley. Spend the night in a traditional guesthouse, enjoy local cuisine and gather around the fire under the stars. Visit the Korab–Koritnik Natural Park, Black Lake and the impressive waterfall on Korab’s balcony. A perfect combination of nature, hiking, culture and unforgettable mountain landscapes.

⭐ PROGRAM ITINERARY

👉 DAY 1 – Vanave Gorge, Beles Waterfall & Kallabak Peak

1. Departure from Tirana at 06:00, near A. Rustemi Square – New Bazaar
   Coffee & breakfast stop in Kukës
2. Visit the Vanave Gorge (Gryka e Vanave), a protected natural monument
3. Continue to the beautiful Beles Waterfall for refreshing time under the crystal waters
4. We climb toward the village of Topojan, visiting Reka e Shtrezës, and then reach the Shishtavec Plateau.
   From “Stani i Hoxhës” we start our hike
5. After 15–20 min, arrival at Kallabak Lake – stunning panoramas and perfect photos
6. Continue to Kallabak Peak (2174m), where the Color Path begins
   From the top, the trail opens breathtaking views over Europe’s largest valley, painted with alpine colors and natural rock textures.
7. 🏡 Arrival in the village guesthouse, time to relax & enjoy a traditional Kukës dinner.
8. Evening around the fire, with: baked corn & potatoes / music / group games & animations until midnight.

👉 DAY 2 – Radomirë, Black Lake & Korab Balcony Waterfall

1. Wake up early for optional stretching & morning gymnastics, then enjoy a fantastic guesthouse breakfast.
2. We head to our final destination:
3. Korab–Koritnik Natural Park
4. Radomirë village – surrounded by alpine plains and mountain walls
5. Visit the beautiful Balcony Waterfall of Korab
6. Continue to Black Lake, one of Albania’s hidden northern pearls
7. Time for: rest & relaxation / nature views / lunch/snack optional “mountain beach” near the lake.
   In the afternoon, we return to the starting point and begin the journey back to Tirana.
8. Arrival in Tirana late in the evening.
