Daily Trip to Peshtura Waterfall

Hidden among the mountainous landscapes of Tepelena, the trail to Peshtura Waterfall offers travelers a hike filled with natural wonders. This multi–layered waterfall lies in the highlands that once inspired Edward Lear’s paintings — and once you walk through its rugged beauty, you’ll understand why.
Wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring water, snacks, and a light change of clothes, and get ready to experience a scene that looks like something out of a movie.

👉 Day Program

1. Departure – 07:00 (A. Rustemi Square, New Bazaar Tirana)
   We begin our journey early and make a stop for coffee and panoramic photos on the way toward Tepelena.
2. Arrival in Tepelena – Start of the Adventure
   The trail to Bënça Canyon begins here. The route is surrounded by untouched nature, rivers, and mountain scenery.
3. Arrival at Peshtura Waterfall (Progonat)
   Located between mountain cliffs and fields, this is one of Albania’s most unique multi-level waterfalls. Its strong water flow, crystal pools, and emerald colors create the perfect place for photos, relaxation, and enjoying a snack you brought with you.
4. Free Time at the Waterfall
   Relax in the sun, cool off in the refreshing water, or simply enjoy the views. The area is perfect for light swimming and nature photography.
5. Hike Back (Approx. 2+ hours round trip)
   The trail is accessible for all age categories, offering a pleasant walk through the canyon.
6. Visit to Tepelena City
   We stop in Tepelena to explore the pedestrian zone, Ali Pasha’s Castle, and enjoy free time in the city.
7. Coffee Stop Near Fier
   A short break before heading back to Tirana.
8. Return to Tirana – Around 20:30–21:00
   End of the service and adventure.
