🌍 About the Destination
Just 30 kilometers from Tirana lies one of Europe’s rarest natural wonders — Mali me Gropa (The Mountain with Pits).
Carved by ancient glaciers, this mountain is a spectacular karst phenomenon, dotted with deep circular pits and limestone formations stretching for kilometers.
At an altitude of 1847 meters, the peak of Mçek offers panoramic views over Mount Tomorr, Dibra, and Elbasan — a true paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and adventure seekers.
In winter, the mountain is blanketed with snow, making it ideal for ski touring and alpine exploration, while in summer, it transforms into a wildflower-strewn landscape rich in color and life.

📅 1-Day Itinerary

1. 🕕 Departure:
   06:30 AM – Meeting point near A. Rustemi Square, New Bazaar, Tirana, Albania.
   Departure at 07:00 AM sharp.
2. ☕ Stop 1 – Morning Coffee Break
   Quick stop along Dajti Street (Dajti Park area) for coffee and refreshments before the mountain ascent.
3. 🚐 Journey to Selita & Feken
   Arrival around 09:00 AM. Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through forests and fresh alpine air.
4. 🥾 Hike to Mali me Gropa (Mount of Pits)
   Our guided hike begins at the Feken spring, where we follow a stunning route through open alpine terrain covered with glacial pits. Duration: 2–3 hours (round trip)
   Highest Point: Mçek Peak (1847.3 m)
   From the summit, enjoy 360° views of the surrounding mountain ranges — Mount Tomorr, Librazhd, Dibra, Martanesh, and Elbasan.
   We’ll rest at the top, taking in the silence and scenery while enjoying lunch from your packed meal.
5. 🍓 Descent & Nature Stop
   On the return, explore another scenic trail showcasing unique erosion pits and low forest vegetation.
   During the warm season, pick wild strawberries and forest fruits along the way.
6. 🍽️ Lunch Stop (Optional)
   In Qaf Molle village, we’ll stop for an optional traditional lunch (not included) at one of the area’s best restaurants, known for lamb roasted on a spit and authentic organic dishes.
7. ☕ Final Stop – Qaf Priske Viewpoint
   Relax with a panoramic coffee break overlooking Tirana’s valley and enjoy the sunset from above the city.
8. 🌇 Return:
   Arrival in Tirana around 19:00–20:00 PM.
