Valbona Valley National Park, stretching across 8,000 hectares, is known as the crown jewel of the Albanian Alps. With steep peaks, crystal rivers, ancient forests, and villages rich in tradition, Valbona offers one of the most unforgettable nature experiences in Albania.

📅 Detailed Itinerary

👉 DAY 1 — Arrival, Ferry Ride & Rragami Waterfall

1. 05:00 — Departure from New Bazaar, Tirana
   We begin our adventure early in the morning with comfortable minibuses.
2. Morning Coffee Stop
   A short 20–30 minute break along the national road.
3. 09:00 — Arrival in Koman
   Get ready for one of the most beautiful ferry rides in Europe.
4. Rozafa Ferry Cruise (3 hours)
   Sail through the dramatic cliffs and emerald waters of Lake Koman — a spectacular journey through the Albanian Alps.
5. 12:00 — Arrival in Fierza & Transfer to Bajram Curri
   Explore the center of Tropoja and enjoy a delicious local bio ice cream.
6. Arrival in Valbona Village
   Check-in at a traditional guesthouse (rooms 2/3/4 available as needed).
7. Traditional Lunch
   Enjoy fresh, local dishes prepared in the heart of the Alps.
8. Visit to Rragami Waterfall:

• Transport with local vans (300 ALL per person — not included)
• Easy hike, 1.5–2 hours round trip
• Level: Easy (1/5)
• Experience forests, valleys, and refreshing alpine waters.

9. 20:30–21:00 — Dinner
Traditional dinner followed by music, animation, campfire, and lots of fun.

👉 DAY 2 — Valbona River, Old Mill, Xhemaj Lake & Kosovo Visit

1. Early Morning Optional Run
   Light run for sports enthusiasts along the valley.
2. 08:00–09:00 — Breakfast in the Alps
3. Explore Valbona River & The Old Mill
   Walk along the scenic riverbank and visit the historic water mill.
4. Visit Xhemaj Lake
   A small emerald lake surrounded by greenery — only a 10–15 minute walk from the river.
5. Return to Guesthouse, pack bags & depart toward Kosovo
6. Stop in Gjakova
   Coffee break in the charming old town.
7. Visit to Prizren
   Explore the historic city and the famous League of Prizren Museum.
8. Free time for lunch (optional).
9. Return to Tirana
   Arrival around 20:30–21:00.
