Overview
The Canyon of Holta, formed by the Holta River, is one of Albania’s youngest and most fascinating natural formations. Its high cliffs, cool river streams, and hidden caves make it a paradise for nature lovers and explorers.
Nearby lies the Kabashi Cave, one of the longest in the Balkans — a mysterious underground world where no one has yet reached the end. This journey combines scenic beauty, geological wonder, and authentic local culture.

Itinerary

1. 🕗 08:00 AM – Meeting Point
   Pickup from your hotel and departure toward the Gramsh region.
2. 🌊 Visit Banja Lake
   Enjoy panoramic views of the turquoise waters surrounded by green hills — an ideal stop for photos.
3. 🏞️ Explore the Holta Canyon
   Walk along the canyon’s limestone walls, where warm thermal waters flow and small caves hide along the cliffs.
4. 🕳️ Hike to Kabashi Cave (Approx. 2.5 hours)
   Experience the thrill of entering one of the Balkans’ most mysterious caves, rich in formations and legends.
5. 🍽️ Lunch at the Village
   Optional traditional lunch with local food and homemade specialties.
6. 🚐 Return Journey
   Drive back to Durrës, arriving at approximately 18:00 PM.
