Overview
Discover one of Albania’s most fascinating natural treasures — the Divjakë–Karavasta National Park, located along the southeastern Adriatic coast. Spanning over 222 km², this protected area is internationally recognized for its rich biodiversity, particularly its pelican colonies and vast wetlands. The tour blends nature, culture, and tranquility — from the historic Bashtova Castle to the peaceful Karavasta Lagoon, and the modern 360° Observation Tower offering sweeping coastal views.

Itinerary

1. 🕗 08:00 AM – Meeting Point:
   Pickup from your hotel and departure toward Divjakë.
2. 🏰 Visit Bashtova Castle (UNESCO Site)
   Explore this 15th-century fortress built by the Venetians, a rare coastal castle recognized by UNESCO.
3. 🌿 Nature Walk at the Park (Approx. 1.5 hours)
   Enjoy a guided walk through pine forests and open wetlands while spotting birds and native plants.
4. ⛵ Boat Sailing on Karavasta Lagoon
   Experience a peaceful boat ride on the lagoon, home to the famous Dalmatian pelican and stunning coastal scenery.
5. 🍽️ Lunch Time in the Area
   Optional traditional Albanian lunch at a local restaurant.
6. 🌇 Visit the 360° Viewing Tower & Divjakë City
   Climb the observation tower for panoramic views of the park and visit the small coastal town of Divjakë.
7. ⛪ Visit Karavasta Church
   A brief stop at this local landmark before returning.
