Description
Struga city lies on the northern shores of Lake Ohrid. The Drini i Zi River flows through the city and flows from the lake. Struga is mentioned since antiquity, the Roman road Via Egnatia passed nearby, the old Illyrian name of Struga was Enhallon. The city of Ohrid is located on the northeastern shores of Lake Ohrid. It lies above and around the two main hills, that of the castle and that of Deboy. While the city today is also spread over the fertile plains to the north, northeast and east.
