Overview
Kruja is one of Albania’s most historic and symbolic cities. Known as the center of Albanian resistance during the Ottoman era, Kruja was led by our National Hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg, who defended Western Europe for 25 years — earning the title “Athleta Christi” from the Pope.
This tour takes you through the city’s ancient castle, museums, and vibrant bazaar, offering a journey into the soul of Albanian identity.

Itinerary

1. 🕗 08:00 AM – Meeting Point
   Pickup from your hotel and drive toward Kruja city.
2. 🏰 Visit Kruja Castle
   Explore the historic fortress that served as Scanderbeg’s base of resistance against the Ottoman Empire.
3. 🏛️ Visit the Skanderbeg Museum
   Dedicated to Albania’s national hero, this museum beautifully tells the story of Scanderbeg’s leadership and battles.
4. 🏠 Visit the Ethnographic Museum
   Housed in a traditional 19th-century residence, this museum displays authentic household items, costumes, and crafts from centuries past.
5. 🛍️ Visit the Old Bazaar
   Walk along Kruja’s cobblestone streets lined with colorful shops offering handmade rugs, antiques, silver, and traditional souvenirs.
6. 🍽️ Lunch Time in the Bazaar Area
   Optional lunch with local specialties in one of the cozy restaurants overlooking the castle.
7. 🚐 Return Journey
   Depart for your starting point, arriving back around 18:00 PM.
